Chained Chest Rise

You make my chest rise and fall steadily,

With every breath I take easily.

You are the air in my lungs,

I'm so lucky I haven't missed the chance.

To be with you feels as though I wasn't chained,

You pump the blood through all my veins,

Clean it like an henles loop.

You're the water for my throat, for my belly the food.

Our rows as sour as raw lemonade juice,

I dunno if you're a cure or a curse.

Can't make it out, with you I would.

Change myself?, I know I should.

Should I actually though?

My body reacts to you, quite a show,

As though we're magnets,

Like birds on a fence.

I could watch you all day,

Imma one day watch you decay.

I wanna go back,

Back to when we met

When all I could think of was meeting you,

Seeing and smelling you,

Smelling the sweet scent of trust,

When all you did to my heart was thrust

Thrusted a knife into it

In every discussion we've ever had.
